Coming back to Singapore from California, Vincent and I began an amazing journey – the birth of Zhaobao Taichi SG. We spent five wonderful years learning from Master Peng, a Taichi expert. Even back in Singapore, we kept learning from him online, thanks to Shifu's love for picking up new things on Zoom. Switching from regular classes to online learning was a bit tricky, but Shifu adapted like a pro, making sure Zhaobao Taichi could be learned from anywhere. The success of these online classes showed that ancient traditions and modern tech can totally get along.

With a dream to share the magic of Zhaobao Taichi everywhere, Master Peng, Vincent, and I got together. We wanted to make it super easy for anyone, anywhere, to get into this ancient practice. May 2023 was a game-changer when Master Peng came to Singapore for a big video shoot. First up was capturing the soul of Zhaobao Taichi – the first 24 moves. Skilled photographers and videographers turned every twist and turn into a beautiful story. At the same time, we set up a Taichi course for seniors at SASCO Khatib, a heartwarming experience that went beyond screens, seen in the smiles of the elderly.  

Beyond the studio, we hit the road with Shifu's first-ever business trip, exploring Singapore and the chill durian and fish villages in Johor, Malaysia. It wasn't just a trip; it was sharing traditions that touched different communities. All this led to the hard work of creating the Zhaobao Taichi SG app. We spent months editing videos, creating content, and making some noise on social media. In the end, the app was born – a digital treasure chest with the heart and soul of our journey.


Opening the app wasn't just about tech; it was starting an adventure. Zhaobao Taichi SG, mixing tradition with a bit of modern magic, set sail on a global journey. Pixels on screens turned into magic portals, promising a future without borders. The story of Zhaobao Taichi SG echoes with bouncing back, adjusting to change, and the never-ending charm of something ancient.
